Filmmaking Workshops for Teenagers

Working in collaboration with several professionals, the workshops are designed to teach the basics of storytelling through filmmaking.

 

The developed content of this short program has been specially designed to introduce teenagers to the world of cinema and storytelling throughout the use of basic filmmaking language and techniques, helping them to engage in artistic development and team work as well as to understand the importance of effective visual communication.

Specific programs are designed to teach language skills through filmmaking and storytelling. These programs are available in English, Spanish and French, and are taught by bilingual freelance professionals with extensive experience in the fields of film directing and production, and acting for film and theater.

Irina CALERO BIEBERACH​

Holds a TV production two-years degree from Universidad del Istmo (Panama). In 2003 she enrolled in undergraduate studies and holds an Audiovisual /Film Directing BFA degree from the International Film School of Paris.

 

After working in several short films in several positions raging from production to art department, she enrolled at Pantheon-Sorbonne University in the master program in Film History, Theory and Archives, which she completed successfully.

 

Over the last twelve years, she has worked in over 30 short film productions, documentary research and works currently as a freelance Audiovisual Director and Photographer. 

 

She has also worked as a filmmaking Summer Camp and Film activity teacher at private schools in Paris such as American School of Paris and the International School of Paris, as well as for social institutions in the south of France.
